After four eventful days with many interesting conversations and lectures at the Smart Maintenance Pavilion, automatica in Munich closed its doors last Friday. With over 28,000 trade visitors from around 75 countries, the trade fair was very successful and once again demonstrated the importance of trade events for personal contacts and discussions.
The third edition of the Smart Maintenance Pavilion was able to establish itself permanently in Munich after its premiere at automatica 2018 and productronica 2019.
The concept presents current maintenance solutions in a practice-oriented environment at relevant trade fairs and thus also reaches decision-makers who do not go to classic maintenance events.
In Munich, 12 companies from five countries showed a wide range of applications from condition monitoring to go, edge security solutions, remote maintenance, visual spare parts recognition and field management software to autonomous cameras for reading hard-to-reach fittings and drones.
The lectures in the Expert Lounge with a wide range of topics and international speakers were well attended.
The next Smart Maintenance Pavilion is already taking place from the 27th to the 30th. June 2023 is planned at automatica, which will then take place in the future with the LASER World of PHOTONICS.
